The year 2016 has been an exiting year for the fans of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike , with many new songs being released by the duo. Back in August the duo kicked off their “week of madness” that saw them releasing a free single every day for a week. Now, they’re back with a new offering, a rowdy mainstage banger entitled “Leaves.”
Built around a sample from Kanye West’s “Blood On The Leaves” off the Yeezus album, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s latest effort kicks off with pounding drums and straight on the beat horn stabs. The energy begins to ramp up with a maddening build up, before “Leaves” explodes into an electrifying drop based around four on the floor rhythms, sinister brass melodies and repeated vocal samples.
