Diplo and Azealia Banks Sued

diplo_zpsfuehkel8Digital Spy tells us that producer Diplo and artist Azealia Banks are being sued for their song “F**k Up The Fun” because of their failure to get clearance from or credit Master D.

The duo sampled the producer’s track “Mad Drumz” without the “proper permission” on their song “F**k Up The Fun” that was released in 2012.

“F**k Up The Fun” was originally released with Diplo having total producer credit of the track, which roused objections and criticisms of the track and it’s supposed producer.

Digital Spy says that Diplo “commented on the situation at the time, claiming that he knew Master D and didn’t steal the track, adding a co-producer credit to the song for Master D.”

But Master D said that he was not contacted at all before “F**k Up The Fun” was released and did not collaborate with the duo. Master D clarified that he produced and copyrighted “Mad Drumz” in 2008.
