From Panama to Miami and Europe, BrunchCast is shaping electronic music gatherings into cinematic journeys

Turning a fleeting moment on the dancefloor into a memory you can return to anytim

Born in Panama and expanding through global destinations such as Europe and Latin America, the platform connects electronic music, locations and audiovisual narratives into experiences designed to live far beyond the moment.

Across the global electronic music ecosystem, many events still exist only as moments. A lineup plays, a crowd gathers, and once the music stops, the experience fades into memory. BrunchCast emerged from a different premise: that music experiences can become cultural documents.

The project positions itself not simply as an event brand or streaming channel, but as a cinematic cultural platform that connects electronic music with territory, gastronomy, community and audiovisual storytelling. Through carefully curated daytime gatherings filmed in distinctive locations, BrunchCast produces episodes designed to live permanently online while capturing the identity of the places where they take place.

The concept behind BrunchCast began to crystallize when its creators realized that the event itself was not the final concept: the story was. In much of Latin America, electronic music experiences reach their peak in the moment but rarely leave behind a structured audiovisual archive capable of traveling internationally. BrunchCast was conceived to fill that gap, transforming each event into a cinematic episode where music, landscape and cultural context form a single narrative.

From the beginning, several elements defined its DNA: daytime energy, curated electronic music, a strong relationship with place, and a production mindset focused on narrative rather than simple event documentation. Over time, the project evolved into something closer to a digital network, with recurring episodes connected by a recognizable visual language where each location becomes part of the storyline.

The platform’s trajectory has been shaped by a series of productions that gradually expanded its reach beyond Panama. One of the most defining moments came in April 2025 with a production at Haras de Cerro Punta, set in a mountainous landscape in western Panama. The episode demonstrated how BrunchCast could transform a location into a story-driven audiovisual experience, combining performance, scenery and editorial narrative into a cohesive cultural document.

The project’s international ambitions became tangible two months later, when BrunchCast hosted its first event outside Panama in Barcelona. The production validated that the concept could travel across territories while preserving its core identity. Soon after, the launch of the first BrunchCast Festival consolidated the different pillars of the platform into a single ecosystem, merging music programming with gastronomy, community participation and immersive storytelling.

Collaborations with artists and partners have also helped shape the creative identity of the platform. Performances from artists such as Isabella Roldán introduced an editorial dimension to the format, incorporating behind the scenes storytelling alongside the musical performance. A later collaboration involving SEIKO and FLETCH marked another important step. Beyond the artistic collaboration itself, the project structured the content as an editorial capsule series that combined artist narratives, location context and brand storytelling into a single audiovisual arc.

Behind the scenes, the production process requires balancing two simultaneous objectives: delivering a high quality live event while capturing a cinematic narrative. Each location introduces different logistical constraints, from acoustics and permits to camera coordination and audience flow. For the team, consistency lies in maintaining a recognizable format while allowing every episode to reflect the specific culture and atmosphere of its setting.

YouTube has become the central platform for this strategy. Rather than focusing exclusively on social media clips or short form promotion, BrunchCast treats each episode as part of a permanent digital archive. The approach mirrors television style programming, where the content remains discoverable over time and continues to attract new audiences months or years after release.

This permanence is reflected in the audience data. While the project began with a strong local base in Panama City, which still represents about 52.3 percent of its audience, the majority of discovery now happens internationally. According to the platform’s metrics, 66 percent of views and reach come from users who were not previously following the brand, signaling that the format resonates beyond a single regional scene.

The expansion strategy for the coming months reflects that growing international visibility. In March, BrunchCast will activate in Miami during Miami Music Week with an event at Uva Wynwood, placing the project within one of the most concentrated weeks of electronic music activity in the world. Later in the year, the platform is also expected to appear in Ibiza during the International Music Summit, another key meeting point for artists, labels and industry leaders.

As the platform develops a season based structure that allows different locations to become recurring chapters in a broader narrative. For the team behind the project, the goal is not simply geographic expansion but the creation of a recognizable cultural format that connects music with the identity of each territory.

By combining curated performances, cinematic storytelling and a digital archive designed for longevity, BrunchCast is positioning itself as a platform where electronic music, culture and location intersect. Its model reflects a broader shift in how music experiences are produced and distributed, where the event becomes the beginning of a story rather than its final moment.

As the platform continues expanding from Panama into cities such as Miami and Ibiza, it also contributes to a wider narrative about how Latin American electronic music can be presented globally through place driven storytelling and long form audiovisual content.
