Q: Before we dig in, what’s next for you?
I’m working on so much new music at the moment, and there are some cool collaborations in the works and many club tracks/ edits that I’ve been playing in all my sets during this European tour.
Q: What are your thoughts on the meaning of success, and how do you define success for yourself?
Success in life means doing whatever makes you happy and being content. When it comes to work, it’s about becoming a master of your craft and gaining recognition in your chosen industry. I think both aspects are essential for achieving a balanced and successful life.
Q: What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever bought?
Back in high school, I bought an off-road go-kart even though I lived near the city and didn’t get to use it much. But the one time we did use it, we ended up driving in the hills and being chased by a kangaroo. (That’s probably the most Australian thing you’ve ever heard)
Q: What’s the most memorable fan encounter you’ve ever had?
I had a fan fly from overseas to watch me play. I couldn’t believe he flew so far to watch me play, so I took him out and partied with him. The fact that people travel so far to come to watch me perform is insane.
Q: Where and when would you go if you could travel back in time to any moment in history?
I would probably have to say the 80s when raves were illegal and electronic music was coming through. A lot of the music/ production sounds/ techniques I take inspiration from are mostly from that period. Also when the pyramids were getting built so I could see how they were made.

Q: If you could only listen to three songs for the rest of your life, which ones would you choose?
This one’s too hard for me; I listen to so many different genres that I can’t even narrow it down, but here’s three tracks that I’ve been listening to non stop over the last 3 weeks Sota, Primate – Realise (VIP Edit) John Summit – Where You Are Nena – 99 Luftballons
Q: What is your philosophy on happiness, and how do you strive to maintain a sense of happiness and well-being?
Making sure that everything is in balance. It’s super easy for my schedule to become incredibly busy, so I rely on eating healthy and training regularly. Being around my family helps to keep me grounded.
Q: How do you see dance music evolving in the future?
Currently, music is going in a harder and faster direction just like fashion is constantly begin recycled, music is doing the same thing. 90’s rave sounds/ early hardstyle is making a return and I think this will continue to develop.
Q: If you could switch lives with any other celebrity for a week, who would it be?
This one’s left me blank, I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever Googled?
In Australia drinking alcohol out of a shoe is pretty common, we call it a “shoey”. At a show I drank some out of someone’s shoe definitely wasn’t clean. I googled if I would die from drinking out of a dirty shoe.
