JoJo Announces First Album in 10 Years, Releases Single With Wiz Khalifa

JoJo is back !! After a long hiatus from the music industry, JoJo is back with a bang, enough to solidify her spot at the top, where she earlier belonged, bearing great news for her fans. She is releasing her new body of work, titled Mad Love, on Friday, the October 24th.

The now 25-year-old star rose to fame in 2004 with “Leave” from her self-titled debut. She then scored another hit single “Too Little Too Late” in 2006. Since then, with the exception of two mixtales, and a pair of EPs released between 2014-15, it has been deadening silence for her fans, mainly due to legal issues. She has now fixed that with the release of her greatly anticipated Mad Love’s first single, “F**k Apologies,” feat. Wiz Khalifa.

“FAAAAAAAAAAHHHK can’t believe it’s finally here I’m so excited ??? “F**k Apologies” feat. @wizkhalifa is out NOW!,” JoJo captioned on her Instagram post.

If her new single is any indication, she’s done with all the run-around and she gives zero shit. Wiz Khalifa starts off the track, stating, “I ain’t apologizing for sh—“; that sets the tone for the rest of song. While the lyrics are about a relationship gone wrong, it’s not too difficult to imagine she’s singing about the situation that kept her on the sidelines for the past decade. “What you want from me?/ I would say ‘I’m sorry’ if I really meant it/ F— apologies/ I would say ‘I’m sorry’ if I really meant it,” she sings on the chorus.

In the stylish music video, directed by Francesco Carrozzini, JoJo makes it clear that she isn’t here to play contrite for anyone.
