Chicago house music DJ Frankie Knuckles, 59 passed away on March 31st.
Knuckles began Djing in New York with Larry Levan, moving to Chicago in 1977 and performing at the famed Warehouse and then onto his own club, The Power Plant. Since then, he has remained a Chicago and House music stable performing at various events around the country.
He will be missed and the dance community remembers Frankie.
