New Short Film Released About Early Life of Jack Wins

After his awesome debut on Axwell’s Axtone Records with ‘Freewheelin’ feat. Caitlyn Scarlett, Jack Wins is back. This time, he’s the star of a short film on Axtone’s YouTube channel about his start as a DJ, entitled “Introducing: Jack Wins,” Groove Cartel reports.

Following the short film Axtone released about Klahr and his EP “Dreaming Wild,” “Introducing: Jack Wins” is a three-minute video in which we follow the Dutch DJ and producer as he walks around and lives his life in London, the city he now calls home. He doesn’t come from a musical family, he said, and everything he knows he taught himself. He started learning the drums at age nine, and his very first rave was at the tender age of eleven. Chocolate Puma were playing under their old name The Good Man. He moved from Haarlem to London at seventeen to study business and become a DJ. As a student, he couldn’t afford to buy a lot of vinyl, but he discovered the bargain bins in the basements where he found a lot of the labels and producers he was looking for, including Axwell. You can hear the full story by watching the video below!

Axwell himself also sang his praises: “Jack Wins is bringing something fresh and different to Axtone that we’ve been searching for. I’m looking forward to everyone hearing all his music we have coming.”

Stay tuned – Jack Wins is looking to a bright future with a wealth of original material and official remixes – he’s already dropped remixes for both Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Kygo recently – as well as international shows & festival lineups throughout the year.
