The Teen Choice Awards aired this week, bringing us not just more red-carpet outfits to judge but also the winners of several awards categories among film, TV, music, and miscellany.
As for those represented in the winner’s circle, One Direction dominated with the most awards, winning several choice music awards, as well as several “other” choice awards:
- Choice Music Group: Male
- Choice Song: Group
- Choice Love Song
- Choice Party Song
- Choice Summer Music Star: Group
- Choice Summer Tour
- Choice Male Hottie
- Choice Selfie Taker
Taylor Swift was runner-up, with four awards:
- Choice Break-Up Song
- Choice Music: Collaboration
- Choice Summer Music Star: Female
- Choice Twit
Girl group Fifth Harmony was another big winner, taking home awards for Choice Music Group: Female, Choice Summer Song, and Choice Female Hottie.
Other multi-award-winning pop musicians include Ed Sheeran (three) and Arianna Grande (two).
Britney Spears was also honored with the “Candie’s Choice Style Icon” award, which Fifth Harmony presented.
