Pet Shop Boys Announce Tour

Pet Shop Boys coming off the high from the their latest release “Super” has announce the first leg of their tour starting on October 21 in Las Vegas.   The group will be playing songs from their storied career as well as their critically acclaimed their new album, Super.

The “Super” tour will be staged by long-time Pet Shop Boys designer Es Devlin and choreographer Lynne Page and will follow their sold-out residency of four nights at the Royal Opera House in July 20-23. The band are collaborating for live arrangements with Stuart Price, who produced and mixed their latest album along with 2013’s Electric.

Over the last 25 years Pet Shop Boys have gained a reputation as innovators of the modern live show. They were among the first to integrate multimedia and theatrical elements into their productions and they have collaborated with Derek Jarman, Zaha Hadid and Sam Taylor Johnson.

Super entered the official U.K. Album Charts at #3 marking the duo’s sixteenth U.K. 10 album to date. The first single “The Pop Kids” reached #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Dance Club Charts. The album was written in and Berlin and features 12 new Tennant/Lowe compositions.
