Pokémon Go A NO NO at Rihanna Concerts

You can’t expect everyone to love Pokémon Go. Be it walking into lamp-posts, children getting lost in the real world, or security concerns, there have been numerous calls saying “Please don’t”. While you might imagine music stars to be more accepting of kids and their gaming proclivities, it might not always be so.

In footage from Lille, France, where she is touring Europe, as part of her ANTI world tour, Rihanna cheekily told fans not to play the location-based augmented reality game at her concert. She made that abundantly clear when she told the crowd –

“I don’t want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends. I don’t want to see you catching any Pokémons up in this bitch”

With these words of warning from the “This is What You Came For” star, thousands of smartphones slipped back into their pockets. The comment came as earlier in the week, a Beyonce fan was slammed for playing Pokémon GO during one of Bey’s concerts — while standing only metres away from the stage.

Pokémon Go has been downloaded by more than 75 million users worldwide, but seems Rihanna is not one of them.
