Porter Robinson Worlds Tour Partially Canceled

porter-robinson

“hey guys. so, this really sucks to announce. but after many efforts to try and save them, i’ve had to cancel my upcoming live shows in Germany, France, and Finland.”

Although the partial tour cancellation is very unfortunate for those fans hoping to see Porter Robinson perform, the reasoning Porter provides does make sense in a “Worlds” kind of way.

“over the course of the worlds tour in north america, it became super clear that a certain sized venue is needed to communicate my vision for worlds with the video and light production that is so crucial to the show. we’d originally booked smaller venues in Germany and France and thought they could work, but it’s now clear they can’t. by the time my team and i fully realized this, it was too late to move the shows to larger venues.”

Refunds will be provided for those disappointed fans in Germany, France, and Finland, meanwhile shows in London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Luxembourg are still scheduled to go on as planned.

“i’m really sorry, guys. there’ll be refunds, and i’m going to do upcoming festivals in the area as soon as i can to come back to those cities. i will post details on how to get refunds shortly once i have the information.”
