Fans of Hardwell, the Dutch Big room house and electro house star, have a chance to see him showcase his talents in yet another avatar; as the voice-actor to the character Mel the pug, in the upcoming film “The Secret Life of Pets“, by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment.

The movie is a 3D animated comedy film focuses on a several pets that get up to mischief when they are left by their owners. Unfortunately, Hardwell lends his voice to the Dutch version of the movie, the English version of which releases in the United States on the 8th of July.

The superstar loves pugs in real life, and posts photos of his pug Jäger van de Corput, or otherwise just Jäger, on its own Twitter and Instagram accounts.
