On Sunday September 22nd 2013 we were given the heartbreaking news. Former Nexus Radio host “Dave Tripper” passed away due to complications from a series of strokes, he was 47. Dave began as a Nexus radio host with a pre-recorded show called “The Mega Count Down” and he was known as “Dj Z”. What started as a test live broadcast one Friday afternoon marked the beginning of a Friday night ritual known as “DTL”, The Dave Tripper Live show. Dave’s show established a hard following as people began calling in, mailing in gifts and flying in from all over the country just to see him in person. Dave, we thank you for all the memories, the laughs and for being part of the Nexus Family.
