Rihanna had her Irish fans worried during her gig at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday night after arriving 30 minutes late and then crying onstage.
The 28-year-old Barbadian R&B superstar was performing the opening night of the European leg of her ‘Anti World Tour’ in the Irish capital, when she appeared visibly upset at the beginning of her show. She later broke down into tears as she performed her second track, the Eminem collaboration “Love the Way You Lie”. (Watch video at end of this article).
Rihanna continued to belt out a total of 24 tunes that evening, but she offered no explanation on her tears. She took a moment during the show to praise her Irish fans, saying: “I only have ever in my life heard an audience of people scream so loud that they sound like one voice and that only happens in Ireland, in Dublin… Thank you so much.”
Her concerned fans however took to social media worried for the star’s health and well-being.
