RUDIMENTAL AND GORGON CITY DOING US TOUR

London-based electronica musical artists, Rudimental and Gorgon City, will be going on tour in the US  in late May. However, while their tour will be a short one, with only five dates, five cities, many are excited to see the two English bands coming to the US to perform.  Tickets are going on sale today at 12 EST.

They will be starting out in New York, NY performing at the Summerstage at Central Park on the 18th of May. Next they’ll be headed to Los Angeles on the 20th to perform at Shrine Expo Hall, then at The Foundtry SLS in Las Vegas the following day. Then, back to California for a show in San Diego on the 22nd, and another in Oakland at the Fox Theater for their final show on the 26th.

All of their shows will be live performances, with San Diego being the exception. Quartyard is the venue they will be playing at in San Diego and will be too small for a set as large as these two bands need, so they will just be doing a DJ set.

Both Rudimental and Gorgon City put on great live shows, with additional performers in their act to flesh out the full sound of their music. Rudimental will be bringing eleven performers including the four of them to do drums, guitar, singing, and they’ll even have a horn section. Gorgon City will also have singers and a drummer performing with them. The duo, Kye “Foamo” Gibbon and Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott, play keys and synth when they perform.

Rudimental is a drum and bass band based in London. Also from London, Gorgon City plays garage music with an electronic twist. Both bands are from the London club scene, so it seems like a pretty good match for a tour.
