Rising teen pop star Shawn Mendes announced his first World tour #ShawnWorldTour on Wednesday, the 27th February.
The 17-year old Canadian singer and songwriter, with his teen idol looks has been racing up this past year, thanks to Billboard top 10 hit “Stitches”. His rise has been compared with that of Justin Bieber, as both hail from Canada, and both have used social media to build a following. While Justin Bieber used YouTube, Shawn Mendes rode on the popular video sharing application, Vine to reach their fans.

The tour-schedule includes 40 stops across North America and Europe. After his already sold-out show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on 5th March, he will perform at Houston on the Mar 06 and Orlando on the Mar 19. He will then head to Europe, and return to North America mid-July. He will wind-up his tour in his hometown Toronto, on the 21st of August.
