Marriage proposals at EDM festivals are quite a rage nowadays. It is a special dream of couples though to be proposed at a romantic location at Fiji, that too during a EDM festival. For one lucky couple, it was a dream come true, as EDM star Skrillex facilitated the whole moment on stage during a festival set in Fiji.

Your Paradise is an EDM festival held at the islands of Malolo, Fiji and is currently one of the most remotely set and intimately produced festivals in the world. The event, which ran from December 10-16 this year, saw Skrillex bring his set to the island. During his electrifying performance, the DJ took a break from the music and spoke to the crowd, telling them he wanted to “celebrate love to the fullest”. He then introduced a ‘special friend’, Malcom, who then took the opportunity to ask the apple of his eye, Jess to spend the rest of their lives together. With the crowd silent, Malcom grabbed the mic and with Skrillex at his back hushing a lively festival crowd, got down on one knee and professed his love for his mate to the overture of an a capella version of “Where Are Ü Now.”
