What began as a drumming gig in Paris, led him on a musical journey that guided him towards Electronic music and Los Angeles. Although L.A. isn’t known as a typical EDM hub, it has been blossoming thanks to the likes of Diplo, Skrillex and Dillon Francis as of late.
It was there in L.A. where Clovis’ thrived as an artist, he fused the sounds of 90’s house, hip-hop with French dance music to create his own sound. He may be an “Angelino” now, but Clovis XIV is still very much in touch with his French roots. For example, he chose his artistic name after his historic ancestor Clovis I; the first king of the germanic tribe The Franks.
If you’ve ever wondered what a direct descendant of a Medieval king would be doing today, then learn more about Clovis XIV.

Clovis XIV is my first solo project, I used to be in several bands and projects before that. You can think of it as somewhere between hip-hop and house music, but more futuristic.
