When it comes to dance music, Steff da Campo is a surefire way to guarantee a good time. His signature blend of high-energy tracks and inventive remixes has made waves in the electronic scene, especially with his recent hits. Known for his unique style that fuses tech house, future house, and groovy bass house, Steff’s musical journey is anything but ordinary. Originally starting out as a designer, he eventually found his true calling in the vibrant EDM scene of the Netherlands—it turns out fate had other plans!
Steff da Campo quickly made a name for himself with releases on massive labels like Heldeep, HEXAGON, Musical Freedom, and Spinnin’ Records. By 2020, he was exclusively signed to Spinnin’ and collaborating with Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label. Tracks like “Hot In Here,” “Renegade” (which racked up 21 million streams), and “5 On It” (with 15 million streams and a #1 spot on the German and Polish charts) have helped Steff da Campo become a global force in dance music. His track “Say Say Say” even hit 24 million streams and charted in France’s Top 50! With over 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Steff da Campo’s work speaks for itself—he’s got 12 #1s on Beatport, and his rise was so impressive that he became the highest new entry on 1001Tracklists’ Top 101 Producers in 2018.
Today, Steff da Campo is touring the world, lighting up festivals like Tomorrowland, Untold, World Club Dome, and Nerversea, taking his high-octane sound to the masses.
Along the way, Steff da Campo has embraced new ways to create music, collaborating with people from different cultures. "I love to create with people who are from the origin. I'm here with a guy from Norway, Stitzema. I like the influence of Nordic sounds. If you work with guys from the Balkans, I love to bring in Balkan sounds. I want to diversify the bagpipes,” Steff da Campo explained, sharing the story behind his new track "Oppa."
But at the heart of it all, Steff da Campo wants listeners to connect with the emotions behind his music. “Just enjoy the emotion because sometimes I make music when I’m happy or emotional or whatever, and that’s the moment I make the music. So, two or three months later, you’re in a different state and release a track. You’re like, ‘Where was I when I made this?’ But I still want to release it because that was the moment I created it.”
