New York City’s most influential nightlife brand, Teksupport, has announced a special open-air Memorial Day Weekend performance with electronic music icon Solomun. Set for May 23, the event will take place at the historic Fulton Fish Market in Hunts Point, marking the debut of large-scale outdoor concert programming along the venue’s East River waterfront.
Solomun remains one of the most influential figures in global club culture, celebrated for expansive, emotionally charged sets that seamlessly bridge underground credibility with worldwide appeal. From his long-running Solomun +1 residency in Ibiza to the continued evolution of his Dynamic Music label, the Bosnian-born producer has shaped dance floors across continents, earning a reputation for deeply immersive musical journeys.
Over the past decade, Teksupport has consistently pushed the boundaries of traditional nightlife in New York City. The collective is known for transforming overlooked, raw, and unconventional spaces—ranging from submarine factories and navy yards to subterranean ballrooms, passenger boats, and even Grand Central Station—into unforgettable cultural experiences. The Fulton Fish Market represents a new chapter in this exploration, offering a rare opportunity to experience Solomun in a working waterfront environment unlike any other in the city.
Presented in partnership with the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative, the May 23 event also reflects the Cooperative’s growing commitment to hosting unexpected cultural programming beyond its historic role in the city’s food system. Founded in 1822, the nonprofit, member-owned organization operates from a 400,000-square-foot facility in the Bronx and supplies nearly half of New York City’s seafood—making the site both a vital piece of infrastructure and an emerging platform for large-scale cultural moments.
Led by founder Rob Toma, Teksupport has become a defining force in the evolution of New York’s underground music landscape, widely recognized for introducing some of Europe’s most influential dance music brands to the United States. As Toma puts it, “After many years of work, we’re excited to partner with the Fulton Fish Market Collective and the City to unlock a truly special location in Hunts Point, continuing our commitment to pushing culture forward in New York City.”
