Legendary London Club fabric Celebrates 25 Years with a 300-Page Book Release

London’s iconic nightclub, fabric, is marking its quarter-century anniversary with a unique celebration — the release of a 300-page book chronicling its rich history and cultural significance. The book, simply titled fabric, is being published by White Rabbit and is the brainchild of music journalist and author Joe Muggs. With contributions from over 100 DJs closely tied to the club, staff members, and an abundance of rare photography and iconic artwork, this book is a tribute to fabric’s undeniable influence on electronic music and nightlife.

Fabric, founded in 1999, has become a legendary institution in the heart of London, particularly known for its cutting-edge curation of electronic music and its role as a community hub for music lovers. The book serves as both a testament to this legacy and a reflection on the many transformative nights that have unfolded within its walls. As Joe Muggs puts it: “You know how people say, ‘If these walls could speak…’? After months of interviews, research, and writing, I genuinely did feel like those walls deep under Farringdon were sharing their stories.”

The book includes an introduction by acclaimed DJ and music historian Bill Brewster and a foreword from BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, further adding to the allure of this special release. Readers can expect not only compelling testimonies from fabric insiders but also a deep dive into the visual history of the club, showcasing rare photographs and artwork that have come to define the club’s unique atmosphere.
