Craigslist, often perceived as the “shady” classified ads site devoted to goods, services, and even personals, is now hosting the sale of one of the most widely recognized and celebrated vehicles in the EDM community; I am speaking of course of the Purarri.
What started out as a vanilla Ferrari 458 Spider, evolved into the vessel for one of the internet’s most prolific memes; the Nyan Cat. Now, after Zimmerman has taken this mythical beast out to the streets for many of his famous “Coffee Runs,” as well as the Gumball 3000, Deadmau5 decided it was time to part ways, and has listed the Purrarri up for sale for $380,000 on Craigslist. (with excess bids going to charity!)
Oh, and as a bonus, Deadmau5 hinted that the buyer of the Nyan-cat infused Ferrari would also be entitled to a chance to film their very own “Coffee Run.” With such a marvelous perk up for grabs, I find it hard to believe that the Purarri will be available for much longer.
like i said, whoever buys the car, can come and film a coffee run with me 🙂 should be funny to see how this turns out.
